If a ceiling light or fan box already exists in that location, no — it’s a simple swap that a handyman handles. If you need a new electrical circuit or a box installed where none exists, that requires a licensed electrician. We’ll tell you upfront which situation you have.
That’s our most common ceiling fan job. Existing fan comes down, new one goes up in its place. We handle all the wiring connections, balance the blades, and test everything before we leave.
Yes — including Bluetooth, WiFi, and smart home compatible fans (Hunter, Hampton Bay, Big Ass Fans, Minka-Aire, etc.). We set up the remote pairing and can help with smart home integration if needed.
Standard light boxes are not rated for the weight and movement of a ceiling fan. If we find an inadequate box, we’ll install a fan-rated brace kit from inside the ceiling — no attic access needed — for a small additional charge.
