• Are you licensed and insured?
  Yes — Rent-A Fella is fully licensed and insured in Florida. We background-check every member of our crew as well. You can invite us into your home with complete confidence.
• Who does the work — is it you or subcontractors?
  It's us. Ed and Gabe are the ones who show up, do the work, and talk to you directly. We don't use random subcontractors. When you book Rent-A Fella, you get Ed and Gabe.
• Do you speak Spanish?
  Yes — Gabe is fully bilingual in English and Spanish. If you're more comfortable communicating in Spanish, we've got you covered from the first call to the final walkthrough. Hablamos inglés y español.

Service Area

• What areas do you serve?
  We serve all of Northeast Florida, including Jacksonville, Nocatee, Ponte Vedra Beach, St. Johns, St. Augustine, and surrounding Duval and St. Johns County communities. Not sure if you're in our range? Just call or text — we'll tell you straight.
• Do you charge a travel or trip fee?
  For jobs within our standard service area, no trip fee. For locations on the outer edge of our range, we'll let you know upfront if there's a small travel charge. No surprises.

Booking & Pricing

• How do I get a quote?
  The easiest way is to call or text us at 904-608-7608. You can also fill out our online quote form and we'll respond the same day (Mon–Sat). For straightforward jobs, we can often quote over the phone or from photos you text us.
• Do you give written quotes?
  Always. We provide a written quote before we start any work. The final price never exceeds what we quoted — that's our Price Lock Guarantee. No surprise charges, ever.
• How quickly can you schedule?
  Most jobs are scheduled within the same week. For urgent repairs (a safety issue, move-out deadline, etc.), we do our best to prioritize. Call or text us at 904-608-7608 and we'll tell you our next available slot.
• What forms of payment do you accept?
  We accept cash, check, Venmo, Zelle, and major credit/debit cards. Payment is due upon job completion unless other arrangements are made upfront.
• Do you have a minimum job size?
  We have a 1-hour minimum, but no job is too small. If you have one squeaky door hinge or a hole in the wall, we're happy to come out. We'd rather fix the small thing today than have you ignore it until it becomes a big thing.

The Work

• Do you supply materials, or do I need to buy them?
  We can do it either way. We always bring our own tools. For materials — paint, drywall compound, hardware, etc. — we can supply them (billed at cost) or you can purchase them ahead of time. We'll let you know what's needed when we quote the job.
• What's your workmanship warranty?
  We stand behind our work with a 1-year workmanship warranty. If something we did fails or doesn't look right within a year, we come back and fix it — at no charge. That's our Satisfaction Guarantee.
• Do I need to be home during the job?
  It depends on the job. For some projects, being there at the start and end is enough. For others, especially multi-day jobs, you may want to be around to answer questions. We'll discuss this when scheduling and work around what's comfortable for you.
• What if the job ends up being more complex than expected?
  We stop, communicate, and get your approval before doing anything outside the original quote. We'll never just charge more without telling you. If we uncover something unexpected — like hidden water damage behind a wall — we'll show you exactly what we found and what your options are.

• How does the $25 referral credit work?
  Simple: refer a friend, neighbor, or family member to us. When they book and we complete the job, you get $25 off your next service. No sign-up required — just have them mention your name when they call or book. No limit on referrals, no expiration date.
